INHIBITION OF 5-α REDUCTASE EVALUATION (in vitro)
The amount of DHT % produced by human keratinocytes, was measured to evaluate the capacity of Ganother to inhibit 5-α reductase. GANOTHER is able to reduce DHT at concentration of 0,2 mg/ml.
STIMULATION PROTEIN-SYNTHESIS TEST (SPST)
The test is carried out on human hair dermal papilla cells:
-NC: not treated cells
-PC: treated cells by human insulin. the test assesses Ganother has a stimulatic effect on the cell cycle and on the total protein synthesis in human hair dermal papilla broblasts.
ANTI HAIR LOSS - IN VIVO TEST
• 10 female volunteers with weak and damaged hair.
• Time: 84 days
• Age: 20-45 years
• 2% Pantrofina Ganother lotion was applied directly on the scalp twice a day.
RESULTS: - 2% Pantrofina Ganother reduces by 3% hair in telogen and increases by 1% hair in anagen phase at t42; at t84 20% reduction hair in telogen and a 6% improvement of hair in anagen.
