THIGH CIRCUMFERENCE EVALUATION - SLIMMING EFFECT
The Slimming effect was evaluated by measuring thigh, knee and ankle circumference.
• 20 female volunteers
• 24 - 50 ages presenting different grades of cellulite.
• 4% Pantrofina ReShape cream applied once daily on one leg for 56 days, vs placebo formulation on the other leg.
Results showed that after 58 days, thigh circumference was reduced by 2.1cm on average (p<0.05)
MORPHOLOGICAL EFFECTS ON ADIPOCYTES in-vitro test
Adipocytes were cultivated and then incubated in a differentiation medium for 14 days. The accumulated triglycerides were stored in vesicles until they occupied the whole cytoplasm. After the exposition to Pantrofina ReShape for 10days, these cells followed a morphological evaluation. After the incubation period the stain intensity of cells treated with Pantrofina® ReShape is lower than the negative control and also than cells treated with Caffeine at the same concentration (0,05%). That means a lower fat content in the treated cells
